On Monday Years 3 and 4 headed to the Malvern Hills to explore British Camp. Following a breezy ascent to the summit of British Camp, they all completed an activity book, prepared by Miss Tolladay, which involved them having to use their geographical and historical enquiry skills to locate their answers. During the morning the children had the opportunity to explore the valleys and vantage points as well as identify remnants from the Iron Age through the stone walls and the way in which the hills have been carved.
The children all thoroughly enjoyed exploring British Camp and found it a super way to enhance their learning about Iron Age hill forts.
