WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL

WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL

As the Headteacher of Upton-upon-Severn CofE Primary and Pre-School, I enjoy working with such a wonderful team of children, parents, staff and Governors.  I believe strongly in a team ethos, both in and out of the classroom. Our aims are to create a happy and successful school which fully addresses the children’s learning in a vibrant and stimulating Christian environment.

We are particularly fortunate in that our Pre-School caters for children from the age of 2 years old and work within our Early Years unit. This covers children from 2 up to their Reception age, when they start school.  We offer a Breakfast Club which runs from 7.45 am and an after school care facility is available for those parents who require it.

We respect and value all children and are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Safeguarding of all within our community is vital.

Please see our Safeguarding Policy and Statement under the ‘Policies’ section.  On 1st December 2016 we took over the running of the Riverboats Children’s Centre and are currently working to expand services in this area.

We have many different and exciting learning experiences that we plan for our children.  As a school based in Upton-upon-Severn we use the river to enhance the team development of our children and are fortunate enough to own a Bell-boat which we enjoy as part of our school activities.

I would welcome the opportunity to show you round our school.

Upton upon Severn

“I would like to say, that we moved our child to Upton-upon Severn Primary School in September and we were very worried about it, but this was the best move we could have made as he as settled in very well and everyone was really well and everyone was really welcoming “
